Dee Why Today is an independent local guide for Dee Why, NSW. We collect as little as we can, and we never sell it.

Email signup

If you sign up, we keep your email address to send you This Week in Dee Why, about once a week. Every email has an unsubscribe link, or message us and we'll remove you.

Things you submit

When you send in an event, deal or garage sale, we publish the details you give us for the listing. Your contact email stays private: we only use it if we need to check something. For garage sales we show just the street and suburb unless you choose to share your full address.

Spam protection

To stop spam we keep a scrambled (one-way hashed) version of your internet address for a short time. We can't turn it back into your address.

Live data and embeds

Weather, surf, tides, water quality and traffic come from public services, credited at the bottom of every page. The live surf cam is a YouTube video by AllEyesForSurf; it only loads if you tap Watch live, and YouTube's own privacy policy applies once it does.
